How To Decorate Sunflower Cookies!

144 views

We’re past the peak of sunflower season, but the colors of these sunflower cookies would make them the perfect addition to a fall cookie assorment. Wouldn’t they look gorgeous mixed in with a few hand painted fall leaves?

Here’s what you’ll need for this project:

Roll out cookie dough (my Orange Vanilla Spice cookie recipe is available in my tutorial shop)
Stiff consistency royal icing
Flood consistency royal icing
Scribe tool
Round cookie cutters (I like this set from Ateco)
Round decorating tip numbers 3 and 101
Chocolate sprinkles

Colors:
Yellow = Wilton golden yellow
Brown = Americolor chocolate brown

If you’re not going to be wrapping and shipping these cookies, you could even make this design with buttercream frosting instead of royal icing. Give it a try!
